This DAC i have connects a 2.1 system and another passive sub woofer and the 3.5mm jack from my pc is connected to the DAC.Application Data Review Executive Summary DescriptionsĪ real-time strategy game of ancient warfare The thing is probably old as me.My father gave it to me. I'm not an expert when it comes to these things but I believe that I already have a EQ and a DAC already connected to my PC. so start with each part, test thoroughly.

problems like these can be super erratic till you find the cause and taking your time to find the issue saves you money. i understand that you have tested with a phone but you need to do alot of testing before you're certain of the issue. I would also recommend using a headset or another audio output for a while. check the adapter and plugs connecting your speakers, a lose connection or weak ground can affect that (maybe you switched a plug point or maybe its just gotten loose). Check the connector pins for any residue (they get oxidized sometimes) a goop wipe with a dry cloth will work wonders if it can indeed be salvaged. try changing your aux cables, figure out if you re-wired something recently and maybe shifted something or maybe even sent static into your system. However, we don't know the extent of issues of you onboard, you will still need to use your regular mic input into the sound card, I don't know if you use that or have noticed any issues there.īut MORE IMPORTANTLY, i think you need to diagnose and troubleshoot some more to ensure that you need to spend money on new equipment.

I recommend the audioengine because its a portable solution to get better analog audio anywhere and its pretty high quality. even fioo will do great but go for the e10 or e11k, i think those are the better ones, some of fiios cheaper products are really crap! They are plug and play. i have never used or seen these stuff before.Ī portable DAC like an audioengine d1 should solve your problems. are they any good at getting the job done. i was searching a way to get audio out from usb and i bumped into these things. so im guessing that its a problem with the builtin sound card. first i thought it was a problem in speakers and when the issue happened i plugged it into my phone and the speakers worked normal. after like 2 hours of use i start getting static noise and start losing sound. So my on board audio in my Asrock G41M-VS3 is not functioning properly anymore.
